Open the door again and the item should have respawned. Pick up the item, go through the other door in the shack and close it. You’ll also see a random item on the ground inside of the shack. Infinite Items Tip 2 – Near the end of Chapter 8, keep an eye out for a shack that just has a bunk bed, a bench, and a generator in it. Near the end of Chapter 5 is a good example of this. Collect all of the items, pause the game and choose Save and Quit, then reload your game and you’ll be back at the checkpoint to collect the items again.
Infinite Items Tip 1 – Look for an area where there are a lot of item lockers and boxes near where the game automatically saves. The easiest way to get infinite items is to take advantage of these spawn points and force them to respawn quickly. Most of these spawn points give you a random item, which will typically be money, a med pack, a stasis, or a random resource. There are a lot of different spawn points in the game for items. Dead Space 3 is a resource and money based game, so naturally you want to find the best and fastest ways to get these resources in the game.
